Mid-swing, he tosses the bouquet into the air, taking a moment to salute the people below before catching it again and moving forward. I felt this gesture reflects the true heart of Spider-Man. Even while carrying grief, he still makes time to show up for others. Inspired by May’s defining words in the MCU, this piece explores the idea that loss does not end purpose, but deepens it.
